On Jan 31st, FAFU held a meeting on international students’education in Wuyi Hall, Mingde Building. The headsof Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, Graduate School, Overseas Education College and the representatives of relevant colleges were in attendce. The meeting was chaired by Vice President, Professor Baodong Zheng of FAFU.
The Dean of OEC firstly introduced the overall situation of international students. Then the representatives from different colleges discussed the problems that they came across during teaching processes and put forward valuable suggestions for the future.
VP. Baodong Zheng made a concluding statement. FAFU will take the seminar as an opportunity to summary experiences and lessons to further improve international student educationand to actively respond the development requirement of “The Belt andRoadInitiatives”. He hoped that more efforts should be made to improve the level of FAFU internationalization to reach the goalof constructing “Double top” university.
