· Oct. 2019 to Oct. 2020: Visiting professor, Wageningen University & Research, Netherlands. Feeding with sucrose improved quality of green lettuce and extended its shelf life.

· Mar. 2014 to Mar. 2015: Visiting professor, MREC, University of Florida, USA. Regeneration of blueberry cultivars through indirect shoot organogenesis

· Nov. 2003 to Sept. 2004: Visiting scholar, Biotech-gene Lab, Casaccia Research Center, ENEA, Rome, Italy. Genetic regulation of carotenoid biosynthesis in plants.

· Oct. 2000 to Sept. 2002: Postdoctoral, School of Life Science, Xiamen University, China, The anti-salt characteristic of mangrove funded by Postdoctoral Science Foundation of China.
